 错觉图形大师埃舍尔作品欣赏

介 绍 ：埃舍尔把自己称为一个"图形艺术家"，他专门从事于木版画和平版画。1898年他出生在荷兰的 Leeuwarden，全名叫 Maurits Cornelis Escher。他的家庭设想

他将来能跟随他的父亲从事建筑事业，但是他在学校里那可怜的成绩以及对于绘画和设计的偏爱最终使得他从事图形艺术的职业。他的工作成果直到五十年代才被注意，

1956年他举办了他的第一次重要的画展, 这个画展得到了《时代》杂志的好评, 并且获得了世界范围的名望。在他的最热情的赞美者之中不乏许多数学家, 他们认为在他

的作品中数学的原则和思想得到了非同寻常的形象化。因为这个荷兰的艺术家没有受过中学以外的正式的数学训练，因而这一点尤其令人赞叹。随着他的创作的发展，他

从他读到的数学的思想中获得了巨大灵感，他工作中经常直接用平面几何和射影几何的结构，这使他的作品深刻地反映了非欧几里德几何学的精髓，下面我们将看到这一

一些自相缠绕的怪圈、一段永远走不完的楼梯或者两个不同视角所看到的两种场景……半个世纪以前，荷兰著名版画艺术家埃舍尔所营造的“一个不可能世界”至今仍独

树一帜、风靡世界.
　　　　埃舍尔是一名无法“归类”的艺术家。他的许多版画都源于悖论、幻觉和双重意义，他努力追求图景的完备而不顾及它们的不一致，或者说让那些不可能同时在

场者同时在常他像一名施展了魔法的魔术师，利用几乎没有人能摆脱的逻辑和高超的画技，将一个极具魅力的“不可能世界”立体地呈现在人们面前。他创作的《画手》

、《凸与凹》、《画廊》、《圆极限》、《深度》等许多作品都是“无人能够企及的传世佳作”。

　　很多艺术家被埃舍尔的版画成就所激励，甚至产生了一个可以命名为“埃舍尔主义”的流派。但人们对埃舍尔的研究往往各取所需，对埃舍尔的误解也十分常见。单

纯从科学、心理学或者美学的角度，都无法对他的作品作出公正的评价。正如《魔镜——埃舍尔的不可能世界》的中文译者、北京大学哲学系田松说：“埃舍尔其实是一

位思想家，只不过他的作品不是付诸语言，而是形诸绘画。他的每一幅作品，都是他思想探索的一个总结和记录。”

空间错视
所谓错视，并不是我们的眼睛坏了，而是由于以往眼睛反映给我们的信息记忆与新出现的事物信息对照而感到不正确的心理反映。今天，我们会讥笑原始人神话的荒谬，

但如果原始人超越时空来到现在，眼前的世界一定会让其感到惊奇不已，会认为自己的眼睛有毛病，这对他来说，就是错视。设计液晶态本身就是介于二维与三维之间的

一种现象，它就是一种空间错视视觉现象。
