牛头刨床安全操作规程

The Safety Operation Regulations for Shaping Machines

1、工件夹紧后，机床开动前，适当地调整滑枕的行程长度和初始位置。调整行程后，必须紧固拉杆和偏心。开车前应检查台面上有无工具和其它物品。

Having clamped the work-piece and before starting the machine, adjust the trip length and the initial position of the ram; tighten the pull rod and off-center; then check whether there are tools and other things in the work table.

2、刨刀须牢固地夹在刀架上，刀杆不得伸出太长，吃刀不可太深，以防损坏刨刀。当遇到吃刀困难时应立即关车。

The plane blade must be clamped tightly on the knife rest. The cutter bar should not stretch out too long, and the cutting depth should not be too deep to avoid the damage of the plane blade. Stop planer immediately when the cutting is difficult.

3、开动刨床后，不要站在滑枕的前方，操作时不得戴手套，不要随意拨动机件。调整切削用量须征得实习指导教师的同意后停车调节。变速及上刀时必须停车。

After the planer starts, don’t stand in front of the ram, don’t wear the gloves while operating and don’t move the part arbitrarily. When need to adjust cutting depth, get teacher’s permission first, then stop planer and adjust it. Do stop planer when shifting speed or installing plane blade.

4、刨床工作时，不要用手触摸刨刀和工件。

Do not touch the plane blade and work-piece by hand while planer works.

5、观察工件时，不准离切削地方太近，严禁正对冲头操作。

Not to be too close to the cutting place to observe work-pieces, and it is strictly forbidden to face the drift pin directly while operating.

6、搬动刀架角度后，必须紧固好螺丝。长行程工作时，刀具缩入冲头导轨要检查刀具是否碰导轨。

After changing the tool rest angle, fasten screws. When machine is in long distance of run and the cutting tool shrinks into the drift guide rail, it is needed to inspect whether the cutting tool bumps the guide rail.

7、测量工件尺寸时必须停车，工件上的切屑须用刷子扫。

To measure work-pieces, stop the planer first, and then clean off the cutting scrap of work-piece with brush.

8、量具用好后，必须放在操纵杆下的安全地方。

After measuring, do place the measuring tools in the safe place under the control handle.

9、工作完毕，应将工作台移至中心，切断总电源，做好清洁工作。
